INTO THE JUNGLE
“GO ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” — Mark 16:15
The call of Christ is clear: GO into all the world.
For some, that means crossing oceans to reach people in distant places.
For others, it means stepping into the “concrete jungle” of everyday life—our schools, workplaces, neighbourhoods, and communities—
with the message of hope found in Jesus.
This year at True North Summit, we’ll be challenged and encouraged to see the mission field all around us.
Whether across the world or across the street, God calls every believer to take part in His mission.
Join us as we discover what it means to boldly carry the gospel into the jungle—wherever God sends us.

Kurt Skelly
Kurt Skelly is no stranger to True North Summit, and we’re thrilled to welcome him back again this year. Kurt serves as the Senior Pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and has been faithfully serving in pastoral ministry since 1991. Before coming to Virginia, he pastored Harvest Baptist Church in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, for twenty years.
Kurt is a sought-after speaker at Bible conferences, revivals, youth conferences, and college campuses across the United States and around the world. Known for his clear Bible teaching and passionate preaching, his heart is to help people know Jesus and grow in their walk with Him.
Kurt and his wife Wanda were married in 1988 and are grateful parents of four adult children and proud grandparents to eight grandchildren.
Tate Throndson
We’re excited to welcome Pastor Tate Throndson to True North Summit for the first time. Tate has been in full-time ministry since 1995 and currently serves as the Lead Pastor of Castleview Baptist Church in Castle Rock, Colorado.
In 2008, Tate and his wife Debbie moved with their sons from Pensacola, Florida, to plant Castleview Baptist Church. What began with door-to-door outreach and meeting in an elementary school has grown, by God’s grace, into a vibrant church committed to missions, church planting, and helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Tate regularly preaches in churches, youth conferences, and retreats across the country, with a special passion for investing in young people and encouraging believers to live for Christ. Debbie often joins him in ministry, encouraging women through fellowship and discipleship.
Australia has long been on their bucket list, and they are excited to spend time ministering with us at True North Summit.
PETER & Danielle Mordh
We’re excited to welcome Peter and Danielle Mordh back to True North Summit, with Danielle joining us this year as our ladies speaker. Many will remember them from their time with us in 2024, and we’re looking forward to having them with us again.
For more than fifteen years, Peter and Danielle have served faithfully in ministry, helping people find new life in Christ and grow as committed followers of Jesus. Together, they have a heart for people and are passionate about investing in others through church ministry, teaching, and discipleship. They have two boys, Camden and Chandler, and enjoy serving the Lord together as a family.
Peter serves as the Pastor of New Life Church in Palmdale, California. He holds a bachelor’s degree in pastoral theology and a master’s degree in Christian counselling. Peter is passionate about preaching the Word and helping others grow in their faith.
Danielle faithfully serves alongside Peter at their church and is the Publications Director for Striving Together Publications. She has a heart for encouraging and discipling women in their walk with Christ. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys reading, travelling, coffee, and spending time with her family.
